In conclusion, although this show is meant to quote a phrase, "get your goat", the humor that is directed to most of the group's target in the show are meant to get people like myself and those other groups thinking about the morals and ethics of our society in a more critical way. Some of the jokes are iconic and they are placed in a hall of fame where they are featured in top 10 lists. Others live in infamy because they offend the wrong groups. Despite all the points I brought up in this project, I will be a Family Guy fan through and through because no matter what jokes they make on God or Jesus, they will get me belly laughing based on what message they are trying to get across is that society is more than just believing in a man above the sky. To finish off, I will leave you with a clip of one of my favorite musical number of the show where it talks about the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and their message to promote decency through the means of censorship.
